Day three finds Terry and Shane in Holberg heading south to Port McNeil.
Question: How do you know you are at the northern tip of Vancouver Island in spring?
Answer: Rain, snow, sleet, and hail. And Terry and Shane ran 15 km through all of it this morning!
Despite the fact that when we asked Terry to rate the run so far on a scale of 1-10 he couldn't come up with a number low enough, he and Shane continue to persevere. Terry and Shane were both aware that this was going to be the hardest part of the run and their biggest hurdle.
This afternoon they will run another 15 km and they will finally move from the muddy trails and gravel roads to Highway 19. Overall they are in good spirits, helped out no doubt, by their team of 4 support people plus Terry's wife Judy.
